Welcome to SadakaNow, the crowdfunding platform for Muslim projects in Europe. We believe the community can achieve great things when we pool our strength and support meaningful projects. Our goal is to fund important and urgent projects quickly and efficiently, including through small contributions that together make a big difference.

Our mission

We want to build the largest and most vibrant platform for Muslim projects: a platform that does not merely present projects but carries them to success through innovative marketing and transparency. Our goal is to build a bridge between donors and projects, and so create real change in the Muslim community.

Our story

SadakaNow grew out of the experience and knowledge of Caliskan Media GmbH, an agency with wide-ranging expertise in marketing and technology. Years of performance marketing work, especially for Muslim audiences, showed us how enormous the need is for a modern, transparent and appealing crowdfunding platform.

The religious dimension

Our work rests on deeply rooted Islamic values. In Islam the word Sadaqa stands for voluntary charity and symbolises the bond between a person and their community. Inspired by the wisdom of the Quran, we see every donation as a seed planted to bear manifold fruit.

“Do you not see how Allah compares a good word to a tree whose roots are firmly fixed and whose branches reach the sky, and which bears fruit constantly by the permission of its Lord?” (Surah Ibrahim 24-25)

SadakaBoost+

This feature lets donors add a kind of tip alongside their donation. That amount goes specifically into marketing every project, so the whole platform benefits. More visibility means more donations, and so more Sadaqa for everyone involved.

Our vision

Our goal is to be able to fund important and urgent projects quickly: through the power of the community and through donations in which even small contributions of 1 or 5 euros make a difference. Within five years we want to reduce platform fees to under 1,5% while building a dynamic platform that stands for trust and commitment.
